Transfers are irreversible

Sending is final. If you enter the wrong handle, the asset goes to a wallet reserved for whoever owns that handle, and there is no recall. The resolved destination is shown before every send precisely because this cannot be undone afterwards.

Unclaimed sends stay unclaimed

If the recipient never signs in, the asset sits in a wallet only they can open. Direct delivery has no expiry and no refund path. The escrow contract that would provide one is written but unaudited and not deployed.

Handles are not permanent

Handles get renamed, abandoned and resold. Assetsend binds an identity to the provider's immutable account id on first claim, so a handle that changes hands cannot carry the previous owner's assets — but before anyone has claimed, a handle you send to is only as reliable as the person who currently holds it.

Tokenized assets are not the underlying

A tokenized equity is an on-chain instrument that references a security. Its value depends on the issuer honouring that reference. It may trade at a different price from the underlying, may be illiquid, and may carry transfer restrictions. Prices shown by Assetsend are indicative reference values read from chain state, not quotes.

Technical and counterparty risk

Robinhood Chain, the token issuers, the wallet infrastructure and the identity providers are all third parties that can fail, change terms, or restrict access. Smart contracts can contain defects. Loss can be total.
